                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF COUNCIL FIRE DRIVE,
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON
                   TUESDAY, JUNE 29, 1993, FOR THE "MARCH OF
                   DIMES 9TH ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC" UNDER THE
                   SPONSORSHIP OF THE MARCH OF DIMES BIRTH
                   DEFECTS FOUNDATION, UNDER CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closure of Council Fire Drive from Julian Road to
       Scrapeshin Drive from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 
29,
       1993, for the presentation of the "March of Dimes 9th Annual Golf 

       Classic" sponsored by the March of Dimes Birth Defects 
Foundation. 
       The sponsors are responsible for the installation and removal of
       all traffic control devices (such as barricades, road closed and
       detour signs) in accordance with the traffic control plan 
attached
       hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for
       emergency and residential vehicles.
